There are two ways of using Callback:

1- Access Codes: a) Dial your access number, listen to one ring and hang up. The system will call you back in a few seconds and you will hear: “Welcome, please enter the number to call followed by the pound(#) key.”

b) Dial: 00 OR 011 + [country code] + (city code) + Local Number for all international calls, EXCEPT when calling countries within the North American Numbering System (NAMS). These countries have AREA CODES in place of CITY CODES and you dial: 1 + (area code) + number. The NAMS countries are the US, Canada, Bermuda & the Caribbean countries, except for the Netherlands Antilles.

c) To hang up press the hash or pound key twice (# + #)



2- ANI Callback (PINS/Calling Cards)

a) Dial the US number, let it ring once and hang up. After a few seconds, you will hear: “Enter your account code followed by the pound(#) key.”

b) Dial: 00 OR 011 + [country code] + (city code) + Local Number for all international calls, EXCEPT when calling countries within the North American Numbering System (NAMS). These countries have AREA CODES in place of CITY CODES and you dial: 1 + (area code) + number. The NAMS countries are the US, Canada, Bermuda & the Caribbean countries, except for the Netherlands Antilles. c) To hang up completely, press the hash or pound key twice (# + #).

A callback in this sense is a method of making low-cost international calls via a third country, usually the United States, where call charges are considerably lower. In order to use a callback service, a subscriber is allocated a unique number in, for example, the US, which must first be dialled in order to trigger a return call. This is known (in the US) as a Direct Inbound Dialing (DID) number. Where Caller ID is available, it may be possible to use the same DID number for many different subscribers, as the callback system will be able to recognise each subscriber's registered number.On hearing a ringing tone, the subscriber simply hangs up and awaits the callback.
